Walking along the beach in Santa Teresa, I noticed these wonderful rock formations along the shore line. I was told that they were formed by volcanic lava many years ago. How cool! To be standing there on these natural harden structures and feel the energy and history so alive in them! To imagine a time when they did not even exist. Or even to fathom being there when they were being formed!.
The designs were in various shapes and sizes. Many had pools of water, some very shallow and others pretty deep. Many were filled with shells and sea snails. Yes we did pick some lovely shells to take with us as a memory of this wonderful day and time. I look forward to going back there and exploring more when the sun was not so high and hot.
